Pitches: 5 caravans, unlimited tents Opening Dates: March To October Five acre level field with adjacent three acre woodland amenity area for dog walking. There is an abundance of wildlife with some of the rarer birds being spotted recently. The immediate area offers good access to the Long Mynd, which rises to a height of 506m and is dissected by long valleys such as Minton Batch and Callow Hollow; this provides spendid walking and cycling country with fine views of the Welsh Border and beyond. Recently built facilities block provides showers, toilets and washing up facilities with hot and cold water supply. The existing old toilet block will remain in situ providing additional facilities consisting of a cold water sink and 2 x WC/chemical disposal points. In addition, there are 2 portaloos situated by the entrance. There is also a separate drinking water supply. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO POWER SUPPLY. Youth Groups and Duke of Edinburgh Award Cadets can be accommodated by arrangement. Hamperley Campsite is ideally situated close to the Long Mynd on a quiet country road enabling both walkers and cyclists safe access to the many miles of tracks and bridleways.
