Why campers love it here
About this site
Heapfield Farm Certificated Site is a five-van, members-only touring site on a working family farm at Nafferton, near Driffield in the Yorkshire Wolds. It runs under the Camping and Caravanning Club, so club membership is needed, though you can sign up on arrival if you turn up without it. Caravans, motorhomes and tents all pitch here, each with an electric hook-up and the tidy, pared-back washing facilities that come with a certificated site. The village centre sits about a mile away, handy for its shops, pubs and its own railway station on the Hull to Scarborough line. Walkers do well at Heapfield Farm, with quiet lanes and open Wolds farmland straight off the field, and the dog is welcome to come along. This is a small, calm base for self-contained tourers rather than anyone chasing a clubhouse and a pool, and that is the appeal. Driffield is a few minutes away for supplies, while Bridlington and the East Yorkshire coast are a short drive when you fancy the sea. The site stays open right through the year, and you book straight with the owner, who confirms the pitch price and availability when you call.
