Why campers love it here
About this site
Heaven Farm is a working farm campsite at Furners Green, near Uckfield in East Sussex, with 600 years of history behind it and a bluebell nature trail that has appeared on BBC television. Ashdown Forest and the Bluebell Railway are both within easy reach, and the farm sits inland in the Sussex Weald rather than anywhere near the coast. Pitches take tents, caravans and motorhomes: touring caravans are accepted all year round, while tents run from spring into autumn. There is a general camping field and a separate adults-only field, plus bell tents and camping pods for anyone travelling without their own kit. Dogs are welcome on a lead, and evening fires are part of the deal, with fire pits to hire and logs sold on site rather than brought in. Heaven Farm suits campers who want a proper rural base with some farm history attached, families with older children and couples after quiet nights alike, though it will not suit anyone wanting a coastal pitch, since the sea is a good drive away. The wider Heaven Farm attraction has changed hands and shrunk over the years, so camping now runs under the separate Heaven Farm Camping operation. Check current opening dates and pitch prices through their own booking pages before you travel to Uckfield.
