About this site

Hellesveor Holidays is a small family-run campsite at Hellesveor Farm on the edge of St Ives in west Cornwall, with 30 pitches a mile from the beaches of St Ives Bay. The site sits in the West Penwith Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the B3306, and the South West Coast Path passes 5 to 10 minutes' walk away: St Ives town centre is a 25 minute walk by road or 40 minutes by the coast path, with a bus route nearby and Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Porthmeor Beach waiting in town. Grass pitches take tents up to 3m by 4m, hardstandings with electric take caravans, motorhomes and tents up to 6m by 4m, and 25 of the 30 pitches have hook ups; there is no clubhouse, playground or evening entertainment, so it suits campers after a quiet Cornwall base rather than a lively park. Reviewers consistently praise the spotless shower block and the calm, friendly way the site is run. Sunset Cottage (sleeps 4, one dog welcome) and a two bedroom cabin (sleeps 5, no dogs) add self-catering options, and dogs camp for £3 a night with a maximum of two per booking. Hellesveor takes camping bookings from early March until just after New Year, with grass pitches from £25 a night on the published 2025 tariff.
