Why campers love it here
About this site
Holnest Holidays is a small glamping site of yurts on Holnest Farm at Farway, near Colyton in East Devon, tucked into the peaceful Farway valley within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This is glamping only, with no touring or tent pitches, built around canvas yurts raised on their own timber decks. Each yurt has a wood burning stove, a proper bed, hardwood floor, a canopied camp kitchen and a fire bowl for cooking over flames, with a shared hot shower and flushing loo hut on site. Two yurts sit close together and are usually let as a pair for exclusive use, which makes the site a good fit for a couple of families or a group of friends who want the whole spot to themselves rather than a large open campsite. There is also an accessible two bedroom holiday let with a ground floor bedroom and walk in shower. The valley is all bees, blossom and birdsong, with the East Devon Way passing through Farway, the Jurassic Coast beaches a short drive away and the Donkey Sanctuary near Sidmouth close by. Campfires are part of the experience here, though dogs are not accepted. Holnest Holidays runs through the warmer months, with one yurt from £100 a night or both together from £150, booked through the Holnest Holidays website.
