Ilton Castle Farm Certificated Location

Ilton Castle Farm is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location on a working farm near Malborough and Kingsbridge, a short drive from Salcombe in South Devon. Like all Certificated Locations it is small and members only, taking up to five caravans or motorhomes, which keeps it quiet and uncrowded. The setting is proper South Hams countryside close to the coast, with sea views from the site and some sloping pitches, so a set of levelling ramps is worth packing. On-site facilities are simple but useful, with a shared shower and WC, battery charging, 10-amp electric hook-up and recycling, and there is a commercial site next door. Dogs are welcome and the location is well placed for quiet, scenic stays and beach trips around Salcombe and the estuary. A bus stop within a mile runs to Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Totnes and Plymouth, which helps if you would rather leave the vehicle on the pitch. This suits Caravan and Motorhome Club members with a caravan or motorhome who want a small, peaceful farm base near the South Devon coast, and it is not for tent campers or non-members. The site is open all year and pitches are booked directly with the Certificated Location owner.
