Why campers love it here
About this site
Pitches: 45 Opening Dates: March - December Our small Peak District campsite is ideally located on the edge of the beautiful village of Monyash, at the heart of the Peak District within easy reach of Buxton, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Castleton,Edale and Tissington. We welcome everyone to the campsite and try really, really hard for everyone who comes to stay, however, we do realise no matter how hard you try you cannot please everyone all of the time (as the saying goes!). Fantastic local pub, The Bull's Head (once known as The Hobbit and was twinned with the Prancing Pony in Foolow), in the village serving hearty pub food which can be eaten in the beer garden, in the bar or in the restaurant Next to the pub is the renowned Smithy Cafe/Bistro famous for its hearty breakfasts, ice creams and its muddy boots welcome sign. Behind the pub and cafe is a wonderful adventure playground which is open to all WC Toilets Washbasins Hot Showers Recycling on site Electric Hook-ups - tents and campervans Washing Up Area Small freezer available on site No tokens on our site as our hot water is always FREE!! Wifi is available on site for a small charge.
