Lavender Fields Touring Park

Lavender Fields Touring Park is a small touring and camping park at Carnhell Green, a rural hamlet about 2 miles southwest of Camborne in west Cornwall. The park sits in quiet farmland roughly midway between Cornwall's two coasts, with the sands of St Ives Bay about 5 miles north: Gwithian Towans and the National Trust headland at Godrevy are the nearest proper beaches, and the harbour town of Hayle is around 4 miles away. Pitches take touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, electric hook-ups are available, and the park is open all year. Dogs are welcome too. This is a plain rural base rather than a holiday park: there is no playground and no on-site entertainment, so families after pools and kids' clubs are better served by the big coastal parks. What Lavender Fields offers instead is position and peace: St Ives is about 8 miles away, St Michael's Mount at Marazion about 8 miles southwest, and Tehidy Country Park's 250 acres of woodland paths sit within 4 miles for brilliant dog walks.
