Why campers love it here
About this site
Little Roadway Farm is a long running, family run campsite set in 15 acres of countryside above Woolacombe on the North Devon coast, a short walk from the South West Coast Path and its sunset views. The site sits about three quarters of a mile, or a five minute drive, from Woolacombe's golden sands, with Croyde around fifteen minutes away and Putsborough and Saunton close by, so it is well placed for four of North Devon's best surf beaches. Alongside grass camping pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, there are glamping pods sleeping two or four and a static caravan named Swift that sleeps a family of four. The family have run the site for more than thirty years and keep it calm and friendly, with an onsite farm style shop, AJ's Kitchen serving breakfasts and evening meals, a lounge with books and sockets (there is no WiFi on site), a laundry, a children's play area and an enclosed dog walking field. Highland cows and their calves add to the working farm feel. It suits families, couples and dog owners, though note that adult groups of four or more are not accepted, keeping things peaceful. Camping runs through the season and closes on 1 November 2026, reopening on 19 March 2027, with pitches and pods booked through the site's own online system.
