Little Trevothan Caravan and Camping Park is an 11 acre campsite and touring park with 12 holiday caravans at Trevothen near Coverack, on Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula, holding an AA 4 Pennant Gold rating. The park sits just under a mile up a quiet lane from Coverack's sheltered, crescent shaped beach, a 20 minute walk down through the village, with the South West Coast Path passing through and Helston about 10 miles away. Level grass pitches of roughly 11 by 8 metres come with optional 10 amp hook up and take tents, trailer tents, campervans, small caravans and motorhomes up to 6 metres, alongside small hiker pitches for walkers and cyclists; owners of larger motorhomes should call first, as the west Cornwall lanes here are narrow. The two and three bedroom holiday caravans have central heating and decking, and some accept dogs. Beyond the usual checklist, dogs get exercise areas and a Sloosh Puppy rinsing station, children get an adventure playground and a games room with a pool table, and barbecues and fire bowls can be borrowed from reception, so evenings are sorted. Camping runs from 1 March to 31 October and the caravans to 31 December, with hiker pitches from £10 a night and full tariffs on Little Trevothan's booking system.

Are dogs allowed at Little Trevothan?
Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome across the park and in some of the holiday caravans. There are dog exercise areas and a Sloosh Puppy rinsing station on site, dogs are not permitted on the summer playing field pitches, and Coverack beach is dog friendly all year round.
Can you have campfires at Little Trevothan?
Yes, campfires are allowed in fire bowls, and both fire bowls and barbecues can be borrowed from reception. That saves packing your own kit and keeps flames off the grass pitches, so check with the office when you arrive about where to set up.
Do the pitches have electric hook-up?
Yes, the standard grass pitches offer an optional 10 amp electric hook up, and all 8 large pitches on the lower playing field include hook up. Hiker and cyclist pitches are the exception, as these smaller pitches for up to 2 people come without electricity.
When is Little Trevothan open?
The camping season runs from 1 March to 31 October, and the holiday caravans are bookable from 1 March to 31 December. Caravan stays have a 3 night minimum, rising to 7 nights in peak season, with short breaks easiest to find outside the school holidays.
