About this site

Little Wren Glamping is a bell tent site on a farm at South Cove, about three miles up the coast from Southwold in Suffolk. Covehithe beach, all shingle and crumbling cliff, is a mile and a half away, Wrentham is under a mile inland, and Beccles and Lowestoft both sit within about eight miles. The tents are the whole offer here: there are no pitches for your own tent, caravan or motorhome, and dogs are not accepted at all, which rules out a fair few campers before they start. What Little Wren does well is the farm side of things, with lambs to feed and eggs to collect, plus fire pits for the evening and a playground for children. Families are welcome, and this stretch of the Suffolk coast puts beaches, fishing, riding, boating and watersports within a short drive rather than a day trip. One thing to know before you plan around it: the site's website is offline and the domain no longer resolves, so ring 07833 226885 to check the season, prices and availability direct with the owners.
