Why campers love it here
About this site
Lizard Point by Parkdean Resorts is a big, action-packed holiday park with a dedicated touring and camping field near Mullion on Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula, known as Mullion Holiday Park before its rebrand. The park sits beside the A3083 about a mile and a half from Mullion village, with the sandy beach at Poldhu Cove around 2 miles away, Kynance Cove about 5 miles south and Helston, the nearest town, 6 miles north. The flat, landscaped camping area holds 77 pitches for tents, trailer tents, touring caravans, campervans and motorhomes up to 26 feet, ranging from standard pitches to serviced and Star pitches with electric hook-up, water and drainage. Tourers get free run of the whole holiday park: heated indoor and outdoor pools, a high ropes course, pirate crazy golf, a sports dome, evening shows and the Boathouse Bar and Restaurant. That makes Lizard Point brilliant for families with energetic kids, and entirely wrong for anyone after a quiet field in west Cornwall. Dogs are welcome on touring holidays and get their own Woof Park agility course on site. The season runs from spring to early November (the indoor pool operates from 13 March to 2 November 2026), with touring pitches from £14 a night booked through Parkdean's website.
