This is an adults-only, no-children, no-groups site, and dogs are not permitted on the campsite (though the owners' bungalow is pet-friendly), so families and dog owners touring together should look elsewhere. The appeal at Lockwood House is a quiet, tidy, well-kept base close to the coast for couples and solo travellers. The camping season runs through the main spring-to-autumn period, with pitches and cottages booked directly through the operator.
