About this site

Lower Heights Farm is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site on a working hill farm above the Aire valley, close to Sutton-in-Craven and Silsden in West Yorkshire. It occupies five level acres on the western fringe of the South Pennines, with Keighley about five miles off and the market town of Skipton, its canal and the Dales beyond within an easy drive. Numbers are kept small, up to five caravans or motorhomes plus a few tents, which keeps the atmosphere calm rather than commercial, so anyone wanting on site activities should look elsewhere. Pitches come as grass or hardstanding, several with electric hook up, and there are flushing toilets, showers and battery charging in the block, which is more than many small sites offer. Dogs are welcome, a pub and public transport sit within a mile, and footpaths lead straight off the farm for walkers. Tourers, campervanners and tent campers who want a quiet countryside base settle in well at Lower Heights Farm. Members pay from £17 a night, and because this is a seasonal working farm it is worth checking the current opening dates with the club before you set off.
