About this site
Pitches: 110 Opening Dates: 01/04 to 02/11 The fantastic, sandy beach at Mablethorpe is just one of the attractions near our Club site. Inland are the Fens, to the north the Lincolnshire Wolds and to the east, that glorious Blue Flag beach. Mablethorpe, Trusthorpe and Sutton on Sea have miles of safe and sandy beaches. The town centre is good for shopping and has plenty of places for eating out. The seafront has a sand train, traditional donkey rides, a funfair and cafes. Mablethorpe's Seal Sanctuary cares for seals, both temporarily and permanently. Seals come to the beach at Donna Nook to give birth in the autumn. The resort of Skegness is to the south. It has a Pleasure Beach and a museum of Lincolnshire rural life. Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells has rides and amusements for all the family. Claythorpe Watermill and Wildfowl Gardens has an Enchanted Wood where fairytales come to life. Alford is inland. The historic market town is at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds and has a famous craft market. Large markets are held at Spring and August Bank Holiday.
