About this site

Mablethorpe Camping and Caravanning Club Site is a spacious, open coastal campsite about a mile from Mablethorpe's sandy beach on the Lincolnshire coast. Run by the Camping and Caravanning Club, it sits among flat, open fields off Church Lane, roughly 13 miles north of Skegness and about 14 miles from Louth and the Lincolnshire Wolds to the west. Pitches come in grass without electric, grass with hook-up, hardstanding with hook-up and jumbo grass options, taking tents, caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents, with seasonal pitches also available. Facilities are the tidy, reliable sort the Club is known for: heated showers, a parent and baby room, accessible facilities, a laundry, a small shop, WiFi and a motorhome service point. There's a children's play area and space for ball games, so it suits families as well as couples after a quiet seaside base. Dogs are welcome on leads and there's a designated dog walk, though note the main Mablethorpe beach bars dogs from May to September. Non-members can book, but members get the better rate, from around £10.50 a night for a member adult. The site opens from late March to late October, and the sat nav tip is to use 'Church Lane, Mablethorpe' rather than the postcode. Parking is limited, and extra cars are asked to park off-site.

Good to know

Do you need to be a Club member to stay?
No, the Mablethorpe Club Site is open to non-members as well as Camping and Caravanning Club members. Members pay the lower rate, from around £10.50 a night per adult, while non-members pay a little more. Booking is done online or by phone through the Club.
Are dogs allowed at Mablethorpe Club Site?
Yes, dogs are welcome and must be kept on a lead, with a designated dog walk on site. Be aware the main Mablethorpe beach does not allow dogs from May to September, though other stretches of the Lincolnshire coast stay dog-friendly year round.
How far is the site from the beach?
Mablethorpe's sandy beach is about a mile from the site, an easy walk or short drive away. The seafront has the classic British seaside mix of amusements, donkey rides, mini golf and fish and chips, and Skegness is roughly 30 minutes south.
When is Mablethorpe Club Site open?
The site opens seasonally rather than all year. For 2026 it runs from 27 March to 26 October, and for 2027 from 22 March to 25 October. Check-in is from 1pm and check-out by noon, with bookings taken online through the Club.
How much does it cost to camp?
Pitch prices start from around £10.50 a night, which is the member adult rate; additional charges apply for extra adults, non-members and electric hook-up. It is one of the more affordable ways to stay right on the Lincolnshire coast near Mablethorpe beach.
What pitch types are available and is there glamping?
There are grass pitches with and without electric, hardstanding pitches with hook-up, jumbo grass pitches for larger units and seasonal pitches, suiting tents, caravans and motorhomes. There is no glamping or ready-pitched accommodation, so you bring your own tent, caravan or motorhome.
