About this site

Home to the Barker family and their ten-acre smallholding, Manor Farm Certificated Site is a small, family-run campsite at Woodmansey, just outside Beverley in East Yorkshire. The site has about 15 pitches, a mix of well-landscaped grass in the camping field and all-year hardstanding, and it welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes. Electric hook-ups are available, and facilities cover showers, toilets and a campers' pot wash. It suits families first: the camp field has a play area for under-11s and looks onto the animals, while a quieter corner sits around a wildlife pond for anyone after calm. Sheep, cows, pigs, ponies and ducks all live on the farm, which children tend to love. Dogs are welcome on the pre-booked hardstanding pond-view pitches but not on the main camping field, so book the right pitch if you are bringing one. Manor Farm sits on a regular bus route, making Beverley, Hull and the East Coast easy to reach without the car, and Beverley Minster and its Saturday market are only a couple of miles away. The site is open all year, with the family camping field opening at Easter, so contact the farm to check pitch availability and current prices.

Used to be a great site but family feel changed

Ive been to this site numerous times, probably 5 or 6 but stopped going maybe 5 years ago. The campsite aura changed, it went from a great little hidden gem to commercial. Suddenly everything was being charged and that sparked that made it great was lost. Still a great location with some nice facilities, but that vibe changed. I get campsites need to make money to survive and grow but it went to far.
