About this site

Marton Mere Holiday Park is a Haven holiday village on the eastern edge of Blackpool with an 84 pitch touring area, a nature reserve on its doorstep and the famous beach a few minutes down the road. Read the restrictions before you book, though: Marton Mere takes touring caravans and motorhomes only. No tents, no pup tents, no gazebos or event shelters, no sleeping in awnings and no additional car, so tent campers are out. The touring area is flat and grassy, five minutes' walk from the main park, and the wash facilities are currently pop up portable structures rather than a permanent block, which is worth knowing before you commit. The park is named after the Marton Mere nature reserve immediately to the north, and Blackpool's beach, tower and pier are minutes away, with Blackpool South station 2.5 miles off and Blackpool North three miles. Your pitch gets you into a heated indoor pool, an outdoor pool, the lazy river and the SplashZone, and there is a Boathouse bar and restaurant, a Burger King, a Papa Johns and Cook's fish and chips on site. Dogs come along for £1 per dog per night, up to two per pitch. Marton Mere holds an AA 5 Star Holiday Park award for 2025. Pitches start from £13 a night.

Can you camp in a tent at Marton Mere?
No, tents are not permitted at Marton Mere. If you want to pitch a tent near Blackpool, this is not the site for you.
How much are pitches at Marton Mere?

Are dogs allowed at Marton Mere?
Yes, dogs are welcome on the touring pitches at Marton Mere for £1 per dog per night, with a limit of two dogs per pitch. There is a dog friendly restaurant terrace, walking areas on and off the park, and well behaved dogs can go into designated parts of the main restaurant.
What are the shower and toilet facilities like?
Haven states that showers, toilets and washing up basins on the touring area are currently housed in pop up portable structures rather than a permanent wash block. They are accessible and kept clean, but it is worth knowing before you book if you expect a conventional facilities building.
How far is Marton Mere from Blackpool beach?
