Why campers love it here
About this site
The Park Cornwall, formerly known as Mawgan Porth Holiday Park, is a 27 acre holiday village of self catering lodges, cottages, park cabins and shepherd's huts at Mawgan Porth on Cornwall's north coast, about a 10 minute walk from the sandy surf beach. There is no touring or tent camping here: every stay is in a fixed property, from the two guest shepherd's huts Zennor and Daymer (both with hot tubs) to three bedroom lodges, cabins and cottages sleeping six. Mawgan Porth village sits 6 miles north of Newquay and 9 miles south of Padstow, with Watergate Bay 2 miles away, the National Trust clifftops at Carnewas and Bedruthan Steps a mile up the coast, and Newquay Airport a 5 minute drive. The setup suits families and couples who want comfort sorted, with an indoor pool open year round, the Wildwood Spa (wood fired saunas, hot tubs and cold water baths), Mojo Bistro serving paninis and pasties, a micro farm and play areas; campers hunting a cheap grass pitch should look elsewhere. Dogs are welcome in dedicated dog friendly properties, maximum two per booking and charged per dog per week, and Mojo Bistro lets them inside too. King Surf runs surf lessons a 10 minute walk away. The Park takes bookings year round through its own online booking system, with check in from 4pm and check out at 10am.
