About this site

Mill Farm Country Park is a family-run touring and camping park on Mill Lane in Skipsea, a coastal village in East Yorkshire between Bridlington and Hornsea. The park has around 52 pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, plus a shepherd's hut for two if you fancy a bit more comfort. Electric hook-ups are 10 amp and some pitches are hardstanding, with a £4 discount for pitching without electric. It suits families and couples after a steady base near the coast: a 12-minute walk one way brings you to a view of the sea, fish and chips and the amusements, while three minutes the other way reaches a mini supermarket, post office and the Board Inn for bar meals. Mill Farm stands out for its space and walks, including a three-acre games field for ball games and a tree-lined dog walk along the edge of the farm. Dogs are welcome by arrangement with the management, and there is an accessible washroom alongside the main toilet and shower block. Free hot water is provided for showers and washing up. The park opens from spring to late September, the shepherd's hut is from £87 a night, and touring prices are listed on the operator's booking pages, so check dates before you pitch up.
