Mulino Lodge

Mulino Lodge, listed here as Mulino Pods, is a collection of dog friendly glamping pods and a self contained cabin on a working pasture farm at Kniveton, near Ashbourne on the edge of the Peak District. The pods are spread across the hillside for privacy, each with its own deck, fire pit and sweeping panoramic views that reach across to Carsington Water and the Derbyshire hills. This is glamping rather than camping, so there are no tent or touring pitches: you stay in a warm, well equipped pod (Bluebell, Lavender and Damson) or the larger Ewe Lodge cabin, with shared spotless shower rooms, an outdoor kitchen, an honesty shop, an information lounge, WiFi and an EV charger on site. It suits couples, families and small groups after a peaceful reset, and dogs are genuinely welcome. Being a real farm, you wake to grazing cattle and, in spring, lambing right by the pods. Carsington Water, Dovedale, Bakewell and Alton Towers are all within easy reach, and the market town of Ashbourne, a short drive away, has shops, pubs and cafes.
