Why campers love it here
About this site
Newberry Valley Park is a multi-award-winning touring and camping park on the North Devon coast at Combe Martin, less than a five-minute walk from the village, its beaches and the South West Coast Path. The site holds an AA five-star gold rating and spreads 105 pitches across sixty acres of ancient oak woodland, green fields and a fishing lake. It takes tents, touring caravans, campervans and motorhomes, with Classic all-grass pitches from £27 a night, Large pitches from £30 and fully serviced Premier pitches from £34, plus two shepherd's huts for those who fancy glamping. There is an on-site shop, a children's play area, a securely fenced lake and wifi, and dogs are welcome with a woodland walk on site. Combe Martin's pubs, cafes and shops are all within strolling distance, so you can leave the car parked. This suits couples and families who want a well-kept, spacious pitch near the sea rather than a big park with pools and evening entertainment. Hikers on the coast path can turn up without booking and pay from £10 a night for a small tent. The season runs from late March to mid-October. Newberry Valley Park sits handily for Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and the wider Exmoor coast, and the popular Premier pitches book up early, so reserve ahead for peak weeks.
