Nunnington Farm Camping Site

Nunnington Farm Camping Site is a family-run touring and tent site outside West Wittering in West Sussex, a few hundred yards from the sand and Blue Flag water that make this stretch of coast so popular. The camp sits under a mile from West Wittering beach and around six miles from Chichester, so you can walk to the sea in the morning and still make the cathedral city in the afternoon. Nunnington Farm takes families and couples only, with no groups and no unaccompanied under-18s, and welcomes dogs on leads with a large field set aside for exercise. Electric hook-up and free wifi come as standard, tent pitches are capped at 7 by 5 metres, and open fires are not allowed on the grass, though charcoal and gas barbecues are fine. This is not a site for a lie-in or a late arrival: pitching starts at 11am, everyone must be off by 1pm on departure day, and Nunnington Farm does not take advance bookings, so it suits campers happy to turn up and see what is free rather than planning months ahead. Prices start from £40 a night for two people with a vehicle, hook-up and wifi in low season, rising to £46 in high season.
