Old York Forest Caravan Park

Old York Forest is a small, family-run caravan and camping park on the edge of Allerthorpe Woods at Barmby Moor, roughly a 20-minute drive east of York in East Yorkshire. The site sits beside 367 acres of Forestry England woodland, with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust's Allerthorpe Common nature reserve a short walk away, so it suits couples, families and solo campers who want quiet, nature and space rather than on-site entertainment. Around five level pitches take caravans, motorhomes and tents on grass or hardstanding, each with a 16amp electric hook-up, and there is a toilet and shower block.
