This is an adults only site Pitches: 30 + Opening Dates: Open All Year Phippins Farm is a 17th Century, non working, farm situated near the small village of East Huntspill on the edge of the Somerset Levels and near Burnham on Sea The orchard site lies behind the farm house on the south bank of the River Brue and is level and well drained The village stores and public houses are within easy walking/cycling distance via the country roads or footpath The site offers a quiet and peaceful base for touring this part of Somerset and the West Country Free Gym facilities are available. ADULTS ONLY UNITS ARRIVING WITH UNDER 18 YEAR OLDS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED. (Also available 6 berth Cottage fees by arrangement.) site = £19 per night inc electrics (2 adults + tourer/camper van) site = £17 per night without electrics Additional adults £3.50 / head/ night Awning = £free per night: Fishing = £1 50 per day Additional vehicles = £3.50/night (off site 'visitors' car park) No commercial vehicles, no business occupancy Guest fishing £5 00 per day after 11:00am depart by 11:00am the following morning or stay longer by having an afternoon extension by arrangement for the small additional fee of £3:50 subject to space SEASONAL PITCHES now available on hardstanding from £1400 1 March to 15 Nov Public Bus Stop at Site Entrance 16 No HARDSTANDING PITCHES WITH EHU for tourers Dog walking fields on site 2 No grass pitches with Electric hook up SHOWERS With respect to showers; The showers are none profit making at 20p for 2mins you get what you pay for as they are 9kW showers (that's 9 kettles boiling simultaneously) and so the 20p covers the cost of the electric only NOBODY can shower properly in 2 mins Min for a man would be 40p (4 mins)and for a lady with long hair £1(10 mins) But why not time yourself in the shower at home before arriving so that you know how much to insert before entering the shower If you follow the instructions in the washroom you will have no difficulty using the showers! And remember even £1 is a fraction of the cost of a drink at the pub and less than the cost of most ice creams
