Pinewood is a small, quiet, family run site, situated less than 2 miles from Scarborough town centre, so within easy walking distance, yet surrounded by stunning open countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds. Pinewood is set out over 7 acres. There is a separate caravan and area with 6 spacious pitches with lawned grass between. There is a camping field with 14 well spaced out tent pitches, all with electric hook (metered) if desired. Another area to Pinewood is 'Camp Pinewood' which has 20 Tipis, Camping Cabins, Camping Shacks, Western Wagons, Tipi Lodge with Wood Burning Hot Tub & Luxury Glamping Lodge With Jacuzzi Hot Tub. Great for a holiday with a difference. Couples, families & friends all enjoy this unique camping experience. The Tipis have raised wooden floors, electric heaters & futons. They are very spacious, yet cosy, & sleep 2 adults & 2 children. They are environmentally friendly, so you can enjoy a break away, safe in the knowledge that you are not harming the natural world. They are set near a wooded area, and families can enjoy dressing up, playing hide and seek, and all sorts of traditional games that they don't get chance to play. Couples can enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set - it's very romantic. Each Tipi has its' own picnic bench, and you are welcome to bring your own BBQ. The toilet and shower blocks are very modern and very clean and centrally located. Pinewood is available to hire exclusively for weddings & events.
