Ponsandane Campsite

Pitches: 40 plus Opening Dates: 1st July To 12th September Ponsandane Campsite is in an ideal situation, set within a 5 acre parkland field yet only a few minutes walk from the beautiful beaches of Mounts Bay. It is on level ground and is attractively screened from the road by mature trees with a stream running along its eastern edge. It is in close proximity to a Supermarket and the village of Gulvalwith it's Church and Village Pub. There is a Shower and Toilet Block and also a washing up room with fridge freezers available for campers to use. There is also a washing machine and tumble drier (extra charge). There is also a breakfast/snack bar on the field which is open during peak season. All other amenities are within easy walking distance. Ponsandane has a relaxed friendly atmosphere and campfires are allowed on the field. There are no restrictions on the number of pitches so even if you haven't booked your pitch in advance we can usually still accommodate you. Ponsandane is only open during July and August extending to 12th September in 2020 and we accept tents and cars which can be parked next to your tent for your convenience and security. We also accept camper vans and motorhomes. If you have a large camper or motorhome, please email or telephone first so that we can arrange access to the field for you. £8.00 per adult per night (minimum of 2 people per tent) 1 person in a tent is £10.00 per night. £4.00 per child per night (3 to 12 years inclusive) Children under 3 FREE Cars/small camper vans £4.00 per night Motor bikes £1.00 per night Small Camper vans (VW, transit etc., £5.00 per night Large Camper van or Motorhome £6.00 per night Electric Hooks Up £5.00 per night There are only a limited number of electric hook ups so they must be booked in advance. Cars are charged per night until 10.30 am. the next day. Cars remaining on the field after 10.30 am. will be charged another night We do not charge for tents but if your tent is exceptionally large or if you have large awnings, gazebos or any other additions, please let us know as we may need to place you on a larger pitch and an extra charge may apply. Please note these prices include use of toilets and showers. There are no extra charges for hot water etc.
