About this site

Quarry Pods is a small, dog-friendly glamping site of five insulated camping pods at Dunsdon Farm near Holsworthy in North Devon, open all year. It sits in quiet countryside close to Pancrasweek and the Devon and Cornwall border, roughly five miles from the market town of Holsworthy and about ten miles from the surf beaches at Bude, with Dunsdon National Nature Reserve on the doorstep. There are two standard pods sleeping two and three larger Supa pods sleeping four, each carpeted and heated with mains power, and every pod has its own private bathroom with shower and toilet in an adjacent block, so there is no shared washing to queue for. This suits couples, families and small groups who want comfort without pitching a tent, but it is not a spot for touring caravans or large tent set-ups. The pods are properly built for the weather, with double glazing and sheep's wool insulation that keeps them warm in any season, and the private bathrooms are what set Quarry Pods apart from most pod sites. Quarry Pods is open all year, and bookings are made through the site's own enquiry and availability system.
