About this site

Riverside Caravan & Camping Park & Country Club is a five-star, family-owned touring and camping park on the edge of South Molton in North Devon, set up as a gateway to Exmoor. The park spreads across 70 acres of landscaped parkland with around 10 acres of woodland walks alongside the River Mole, where fishing and river swimming are on the doorstep. It is open all year, which is unusual for the area, and a footpath links it to the market town of South Molton, with the North Devon beaches at Croyde and Woolacombe a short drive away. Pitches take tents, tourers, motorhomes and campervans with or without electric hook-up, and there are static holiday homes and en-suite country club rooms too. A big draw is the on-site Country Club bar and restaurant, which stays open all year, along with fishing lakes, a children's play area and evening entertainment. Families and dogs are welcome, so it suits people who want facilities and Exmoor on their doorstep rather than a remote back-to-nature field. Low-season offer pitches start from £18 a night, and over-60s stays from £22 a night, with bookings made through Riverside's own booking system.

Good to know

Is Riverside Caravan & Camping Park open all year?
Yes, Riverside is open all year round, which is unusual for a North Devon park. The on-site Country Club bar and restaurant also stays open through the year, so out-of-season stays still have somewhere warm to eat, drink and relax on site without leaving the park.
Are dogs allowed at Riverside?
Yes, Riverside is a dog-friendly park, and its family package even lets one dog stay free alongside one child on qualifying low-season bookings. Woodland trails along the River Mole give plenty of on-site walking, with Exmoor and the North Devon coast close by for longer outings.
How much does it cost to stay at Riverside?
Low-season offer pitches start from £18 a night, and over-60s can stay from £22 a night for four nights or more in low season. Prices vary by pitch type and season, and bookings are made through Riverside's own online booking system, where current tariffs are shown.
How far is Riverside from Exmoor and the beach?
Riverside sits on the gateway to Exmoor near South Molton, so the moor is on the doorstep. The North Devon beaches at Croyde and Woolacombe are a short drive away, and a footpath links the park directly to South Molton town centre for shops and supplies.
What is there to do on site at Riverside?
The park has fishing lakes, around 10 acres of riverside woodland walks, a children's play area, an on-site shop and a Country Club with bar, restaurant and evening entertainment. The River Mole runs alongside the park for fishing, paddling and quiet riverside relaxing throughout your stay.
