About this site

Pitches: 28 Opening Dates: 01/03 To 30/10 We now have 28 touring pitches all with electric, hard standing pitches and water connections are available. Situated in the middle of the Lincolnshire coastal country park, Ronam Cottage Campsite is delightfully located where the coast meets the countryside. Ronam Cottage Campsite is situated at Anderby within easy reach of the lovely beach at Anderby Creek. There is a public footpath that runs from Ronam Cottage Campsite to the beach and shops. _ The site is open from March 15th to early November _ Ronam Cottage Campsite has plenty of room for your to pitch your tent or for you to bring your touring caravan or motor home. _ We have clean, warm toilet and shower facilities on the site for guests to use. We now have Wi-Fi available around the site. _ Skegness is only a short distance away for traditional holiday fun. The nearby town of Anderby Creek has pubs and a cafe that serve delicious food. You can also visit their clean, sandy beach that features organised activities at certain times of the year such as beachcombing. Anderby Creek is great place to go bird watching from the round and round hide which gives a panoramic view of the dunes, marshes and sea. You even have a chance of seeing seals, both grey and common, poking their heads out of the water. This special hide is the ideal spot for catching a glimpse of swallows, martins and swifts during the peak migration times of May and September. Out towards the sea you can see gannets, skuas, great crested grebes and divers as they pass along the coat. The town also features Anderby Creek Cloud Bar which is the worlds first official cloud spotting area. The bar was opened in a ceremony that featured famous weatherman Paul Hudson. The Anderby Creek Cloud Bar features mirrors that you can adjust to the best angle for the perfect cloud view. In nearby Huttoft guests can visit the Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary, which has free admission and which makes for a fun family day out. Huttoft also features Farmer Browns Ice Cream Parlour which features a tea room, farm shop and play area as well as cows, sheep, ducks and chickens to be seen. Another great attraction is the Alford Manor House which is the largest thatched manor house in the country. It was built in 1611 and now offers a tea room and gardens. Alford Manor House also hosts a variety of events throughout the year.
