About this site

Sennen Cove Camping and Caravanning Club Site is an open, relatively flat touring campsite at Higher Tregiffian Farm near Sennen in west Cornwall, with sea views from your pitch and Land's End just 3 miles away. The surf and white sand of Whitesand Bay at Sennen Cove are 2 miles off, Penzance and its railway station are 8 miles east, and a bus stop 400 metres from the gate links the site to Land's End and the Minack Theatre's corner of Cornwall. Grass pitches, electric grass pitches, hardstandings with hook-up and fully serviced hardstandings with water and drainage take tents, caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents; there is no glamping and no statics, and the exposed Atlantic position means anyone allergic to wind should pack a sturdy windbreak. Campers consistently praise the friendly wardens, clean facilities and sea sunsets, and the practical kit is sorted: a parent and baby room, laundry, dishwashing sinks, a motorhome service point, small shop, Wi-Fi and a small play area with a ball games field, plus a fish and chip van calling twice a week in high season. Dogs are welcome on a 2 metre lead with a designated dog walk, campfires are prohibited, and raised barbecues are allowed. Sennen Cove Camping and Caravanning Club Site opens 27 March to 26 October 2026, with pitches from £11.30 a night for members and non-members welcome too.

Good to know

Are dogs allowed at Sennen Cove Camping and Caravanning Club Site?
Yes, dogs are welcome and the Club puts no limit on how many you bring. Dogs must be kept on a lead of no more than 2 metres at all times, breeds listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act are not admitted, and the site has its own designated dog walk.
Can I have a campfire at Sennen Cove Club Site?
No, campfires are strictly prohibited on all Camping and Caravanning Club sites, including Sennen Cove. Portable barbecues are allowed as long as they are used outside and raised off the ground, and the Club warns never to bring a charcoal or gas barbecue inside a tent or unit.
When is Sennen Cove Camping and Caravanning Club Site open in 2026?
The site opens from 27 March to 26 October 2026, so it is closed through the winter. Check-in is from 1pm and check-out is by midday. Booking runs through the Camping and Caravanning Club website, with a low deposit option of £25 or 25 per cent at booking.
Do I need to be a Camping and Caravanning Club member to stay?
No, non-members can stay at Club sites under the Club's site policy, although members pay lower rates. Member prices at Sennen Cove start from £11.30 a night in 2026, so joining the Club before you book works out cheaper if you camp regularly.
How far is the beach from the campsite?
Sennen Cove and the sandy beach at Whitesand Bay are about 2 miles from the site. The walk includes some steep sections, so allow extra time on the way back up. Land's End is 3 miles away and the South West Coast Path is close at hand for longer walks.
Are there electric hook-up pitches at Sennen Cove?
Yes, the site offers grass pitches with electric hook-up, hardstandings with hook-up and fully serviced hardstandings with electric, fresh water and waste drainage. Non-electric grass and jumbo grass pitches for larger outfits are also available, and the site takes tents, caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents.
