About this site

Skyburriowe Farm is a small family run caravan and camping site on a working dairy farm at Garras, near Helston in west Cornwall, at the gateway to the Lizard peninsula. The site sits just off the A3083 about 4 miles south of Helston, past RNAS Culdrose, with the nearest sandy beach 3 miles away and Porthleven, Goonhilly Earth Station and the coves of the Lizard all within a short drive. Pitches occupy a lawned meadow with a tree lined border and take caravans, motorhomes and tents, with hardstandings with their own water tap for £3 extra; large groups and single sex groups are not accepted, so it suits families and couples wanting a quiet Cornwall base rather than a party field. Campers rate Skyburriowe Farm highly (4.8 out of 5 on Tripadvisor), and reviews keep picking out the spacious pitches, the clean shower block and the welcoming owners, though light sleepers should know Culdrose helicopters pass over now and then. Dogs are welcome for £2 a night, kept on leads at all times. The site opens from mid April to the end of September, with pitches from £27 a night on the published 2025 tariff, booked direct with the farm.
