About this site

Pitches: 30 Opening Dates: Easter To October Stowford is a small medieval hamlet on the River Frome. Apart from the campsite there is a cream teas room at the Manor House and Bed and Breakfast in the Mill House. There is a river swimming club 200 yards downsteam which can be instantly joined for a £1. The campsite has toilets and showers with runnning hot and cold water. The site is placed within a 15 min drive from Longleat Safari Park and the City of Bath. Stowford has a working farm, whose Jersey cows provide milk and cream for the cream teas. Dogs are welcome! There are many workshops on the farm where local artisans and artists produce their work, some of whom run courses that are open to the general public We are open from Easter to the end of October. Charges for 2012: Family tent with 2 adults : £13 per night Caravan or motorhome: £13 per night Children: £2 per night Extra adult: £2 per night Pup tent: £4 per night Gazebo: £2 per night Extra car: £2 per night Electricity: £2 per night
