Sytche Caravan & Camping Park

Pitches: 40 Opening Dates: February 6th To December The Sytche Caravan and Camping site is set in rolling countryside on the limestone escarpment of Wenlock Edge in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is less than a 10 minute walk into the small town of Much Wenlock with its pubs, restaurants, butchers, bakers, wool shop, book shops and more. Access into the site is through an electronic barrier - we give you the code on arrival. Electric hook ups are 10 or 16 amp. The shower and toilet block is heated and there is a separate disabled shower room with a raised toilet and wheelchair access into the shower itself. The washing up area has hot running water, and we provide sponges and washing up liquid. We have a dedicated firepit area on site for all guests to use Dogs are welcome on the site, but must be kept on a lead and on your pitch, please don't walk them around the site. There is a kissing gate at the bottom of the site leading onto footpaths where dogs can have a good run. We are within easy reach of the historic market towns of Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Bridgnorth and just seven miles from the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site & Museums, including Blists Hill Victorian Village. The Severn Valley Railway's station in Bridgnorth is 8 miles away, and there are several National Trust houses and English Heritage sites within a few miles. The Telford Town Park is great for children and is about 10 miles away. Locally there is The Edge activity centre, an indoor swimming pool and leisure centre, play park and miles of public footpaths around Wenlock Edge. English Heritage's Wenlock Priory is in the town, and there is a free museum plus free entry to the Guildall. Bookings taken over the phone please.
