Why campers love it here
About this site
Tawny Touring Caravan Park is a small touring site at Birdham, on the edge of Chichester in West Sussex, run by the same family for more than 35 years. The park holds 17 level pitches, each with its own electric hook-up and water connection, set on quiet ground away from passing traffic. Chichester is a short drive away, and Birdham Pool, Chichester Harbour and the Salterns Way cycle path to the South Downs National Park are all close by. West Wittering's beach and the Goodwood estate, home to the Festival of Speed and Revival, sit within easy reach too. Tawny Touring takes caravans and motorhomes rather than tents, and both children and dogs are welcome, which makes it a solid choice for families touring the West Sussex coast. It will not suit anyone after a big site with a clubhouse and pool, since this is a small, quiet park built around 17 pitches and not much else. The park runs from 1 March to 1 November each year, so it closes over winter. Pitch prices are quoted through Tawny Touring's own booking system rather than published as a flat rate, so check current rates directly before you book.
