The Cud Life Harrogate

This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents. This is a club member only site - you can usually join on site Pitches: 5 Vans + 10 tents Opening Dates: Open All Year PLEASE NOTE THE CUD LIFE CAMPSITE IS NOW OPEN ALL YEAR WITH OUR NEW 5 HARDSTANDING PITCHES BUT OUR TOILETS AND SHOWERS ARE CLOSED FROM NOVEMBER TO APRIL. THERE IS STILL HOOK UP, WATER AND WASTE AND OUR SHOP REMAINS OPEN FOR SUPPLIES DURING THIS TIME. We work hard to make 'The Cud Life Campsite' as close to camping used to be when we were kids! We would describe our site as traditional, with good old family values and respect for everyone, clean facilities with great showers, we don't take groups (unless the whole site is booked out) and the site is quiEt at 10.30 to allow guests to get a good nights sleep. For the safety and comfort of all guests we no longer accept individual firepits but we have a lovely large communal firepit on a Saturday evening for those wishing to meet fellow campers and toast marshallows. We ensure well spaced pitches with the most amazing views across the farmland. We are so close to the centre of Harrogate but guests often say they feel like they are 'in the middle of nowhere'. You can walk to Harrogate in about 30-40 minutes or into the village of Killinghall in 10-15 minutes where there are two pubs, a church and great playpark. Having the public footpath going directly through the farm you can't get closer to start a walk in either direction, our favourite being to to Ripley with its quaint shops, gallery, tea room, castle etc WE NOW HAVE OUR FANTASTIC COOKSHOP ONSITE open Tuesday to Saturday 1.30pm to 5.30pm where as well as thousands of cookware products and gadgets we also have camping provisions such as local sausage, bacon, fresh organic milk and free range eggs. We genuinely want you to enjoy your stay and will do our best to ensure you do.
