The Masons Arms Certificated Site

This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents. Pitches: 15 Opening Dates: Open All Year The Masons Arms is a picture postcard, grade II listed, thatched pub built of Hamstone in a pretty village just outside of Yeovil. The campsite is in a large field away from any roads and surrounded by old English hedgerows and grazing paddocks. It is part sloping but there is a flat area at the bottom with hook ups available around the field.Each pitch is marked out and you are allocated a pitch at time of booking, the minimum size is 8x9m and many are larger. There are also 10 electric hook up points spaced around the field and hard standing areas which mean the site is open all year. We have a unisex, hamstone shower block with 2 showers, 2 toilets, 3 sinks, wash up area, hairdryer and iron and ironing board. There is a chemical disposal point just outside the shower block and the water point is situated in the hard standing area. We allow well behaved children and dogs on site but ask that both are kept supervised at all times and dogs are kept on lead apart from when in the off lead enclosed exercise paddock. There is no charge for children under 4 years of age, dogs or for putting up awnings or pup tents. The pub has a very good reputation for food, having just gained a Rosette from the AA for culinary excellence, with an emphasis on free range, organic and local produce, all freshly prepared by our team of chefs. We also have a wood fired pizza oven producing artisan pizza to eat in or take advantage of our takeaway service for pizza and fish and chips. We also have a microbrewery on site producing 6 ales, 3 of them will always be available and 2 are seasonal. If you are on site on a Monday you will be able to watch the brewing process as this is our usual brew day.
