The Mile Campsite

This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents. Pitches: 30 Opening Dates: Open All Year The campsite is situated 1/2 a mile roughly a 10 to 15 minute walk from the historic market town of Pocklington where there is an array of independent retailers, pubs and restaurants. The site has facilities accessed via ramp made from paving stones from both fields, this includes a disabled facility suitable for wheelchair users, there is easy access to th site which is situated directly behing the farm shop. All pitches are flat, grass and on well draining land. We now have 15 hard standing pitches over looking the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. We have horses and ponies at both sides of the camping field. There is wifi which is included in the price The farm shop sells lots of local produce, from your everyday staples, egg, bacon, bread and milk etc, to the more specialist locally made produce including jams, chutneys, cheeses, beers, ciders even a specialist gin department ! Ideal for having a wander and a peruse. Smile cafe offers a wide range of healthy locally produced food, including barista coffee's, freshly made cakes, along with very popular full English breakfasts, panini' s and sandwiches. There are a number of choices of seating areas. The cafe itself has and indoor soft play area suitable for under 5's and outside play paddock with picnic benches, there is a dog friendly seating area under the veranda as well as in the farm shop.
