About this site

Part of a family-run farm shop, cafe and dog park just outside Pocklington, The Mile Campsite offers grass and hardstanding touring pitches at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds in East Yorkshire. The site sits about half a mile from the centre of Pocklington, a ten to fifteen minute walk to the market town's independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Every pitch comes with an electric hook-up and free wifi, and this is a caravan, motorhome and campervan site, so tents and roof tents are not accepted. Firepits and electric-car charging are not allowed either, which keeps things simple and tidy. What sets The Mile apart is everything sharing the site: a farm shop selling local produce, the Smile cafe with barista coffee and cooked breakfasts, and Pock Paws, a secure dog exercise area you can hire by the slot. Dogs are welcome, up to two per unit and on a lead, and they can join you in the cafe and shop. Accessible wet rooms are reached by a ramp, including a disabled wetroom. The campsite is open all year with views over the Wolds, and pitches are booked through the operator's online booking system.
