This is an adults only site Pitches: 97 Opening Dates: 01/3 To 18/11 AA Campsite of the Year 2018 This adult only site is set in gloriously tranquil and unspoilt countryside with panoramic views of the Mendip Hills and surrounding area. Offering larger than average spacious landscaped pitches for caravans, motorhomes, tents and RVs, plus a range of glamping accommodation. The perfect 'get away from it all' spot to enjoy walking, cycling, touring or simply relaxing amongst the abundant wildlife. A chance to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries. Two spotlessly clean amenity blocks are centrally heated with a number of individual wet rooms and more than enough luxury toilets and showers. For the ladies, there are 2 vanity areas with plugs for your own hair dryers and straighteners. 2 fully equipped disabled units, dishwashing sinks, freezer and fridge and 2 laundry rooms are also available. Free use of microwaves. An impressive array of takeaway food is delivered to site 5 nights a week (Indian, Chinese, Fish & Chips, Pizza & Kebab). New for 2018 - Wood-fired Pizza night on Thursdays (from Easter to Oct). The newly refurbished shop/off licence is home to a great range of locally sourced groceries and gifts, our own free range eggs and home reared beef & lamb. Wine, local cider and Glastonbury Ales sit alongside our daily homemade cakes. Fresh croissants are baked on site, 6 days a week and newspapers can be ordered in. Our half-acre fishing pond is well stocked with carp, roach, chub and tench and is an absolute haven for wildlife. Win a FREE break in our Fishing competitions. Our glamping accommodation includes: Glamping pods, luxury shepherd huts and mini cedar lodges. Some accommodation comes complete with your own private wood-fired hot tub. All have their own fire pit. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and can take advantage of the 300 metre secure dog walk. FREE wifi throughout the park plus high speed fibre coming in June 2018 (charges may apply).
