About this site

Set on a family farm at Easington near the tip of the East Yorkshire coast, The Paddock is a small, members-only Certificated Site of the Camping and Caravanning Club. As a Certificated Site it takes only a handful of units, so it is a quiet, low-key base rather than a busy commercial park, and you will need club membership, which can usually be arranged when you book. The site welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes, and pitches come with electric hook-up. It sits close to Spurn Point, the long sand-and-shingle spit that reaches into the mouth of the Humber, so you get sea and estuary views along with open farmland around you. Dogs and families are welcome, which makes it handy for walkers and birdwatchers working the Spurn peninsula. If you would rather not camp, The Paddock also has a lodge to rent, as the site's full name suggests. Spurn Point National Nature Reserve is one of East Yorkshire's finest spots for coastal walks and migrating birds, and the beaches and the Humber shore are both within easy reach. This is a proper away-from-it-all corner rather than a park with lots of on-site entertainment, so bring what you need. The Paddock is open all year, and current pitch and lodge prices are best confirmed directly with the owners.
