The Paddock Certificated Site And Lodge

Set on a family farm at Easington near the tip of the East Yorkshire coast, The Paddock is a small, members-only Certificated Site of the Camping and Caravanning Club. As a Certificated Site it takes only a handful of units, so it is a quiet, low-key base rather than a busy commercial park, and you will need club membership, which can usually be arranged when you book. The site welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes, and pitches come with electric hook-up. It sits close to Spurn Point, the long sand-and-shingle spit that reaches into the mouth of the Humber, so you get sea and estuary views along with open farmland around you. Dogs and families are welcome, which makes it handy for walkers and birdwatchers working the Spurn peninsula.
