We are a quiet family Camping Park, in the rural hamlet of Stragglethorpe, south east of Nottingham, close to Radcliffe-On-Trent and Cotgrave. Thornton's Holt offers spacious pitches on level grassland, carefully lanscaped with mature trees, fruit orchards and gardens. We have a relaxing and friendly farm type atmosphere with cheeky free range hens wandering throughout the park. Thornton's Holt is a fantastic place to experience the great outdoors. Our park is beautifully landscaped and creates stimulating environment for children and adults to explore with open areas perfect for play. We have an indoor heated swimming pool, a small shop, laundry, washroom facilities and large childrens play area (under 12 years) which are all open every day throughout the summer. We also have a comfortable and cosy holiday cottage, The Annex. It is available for long weekends, mid week and week long stays. Free WiFi is available in the shop and reception area. During the winter season (Nov - Mar) we are open with limited facilities, using our hardstanding pitches. The swimming pool, shop and games room are closed.
