Why campers love it here
About this site
Clifftop pitches on Flamborough Head set the scene at Thornwick Bay, a Haven holiday village above the North Sea near the village of Flamborough in East Yorkshire. The park sits on part of the Flamborough Cliffs, about 4 miles from Bridlington, with a sand and pebble cove below for rock pooling and paddling and dramatic headland walks from the gate. Its touring and camping field takes everything from a tent to a large motorhome across 187 pitches, with electric hook-ups and full use of the park's facilities. That makes it a good fit for families and couples who want entertainment on the doorstep, though anyone after a small, quiet field should look elsewhere. Dogs are welcome and share your pitch for a small nightly fee, with a dog-friendly beach nearby. On site you get a heated indoor pool with a slide, the Lighthouse bar and restaurant, a showbar with nightly entertainment, amusements, a gym and fishing on the lake. Reviewers regularly praise the clifftop location and the evening shows. Thornwick Bay is open from 1 March to 31 October, and touring pitches are booked through Haven's own booking system.
