About this site

Tollgate Farm Caravan & Camping Park is a family-run touring park and campsite on the edge of Perranporth in Cornwall, with generous pitches across four camping fields and sea views towards the dunes from many of them. Perranporth's shops are about a mile away, and the village's beach, three miles of RNLI-lifeguarded, dog-friendly sand, draws surfers from across Cornwall; Perranporth Golf Club sits next door, with Newquay 8 miles north and Truro 9 miles south. Perran, Rose and Willow fields offer grass and hardstanding pitches with 16-amp hook-ups, including 5 fully serviced premium pitches, while Meadow field holds 4 non-electric tent pitches and 5 heated LogPods sleeping a family of four. The park takes families and couples only, so groups after a lively night out should book elsewhere: there is no bar, just a big playing field, a play area and an animal corner with pigs, goats, chickens and guinea pigs. A camper's kitchen (fridges, microwaves, toaster), a licensed shop, heated family and accessible shower rooms and a help-yourself herb garden keep everyone sorted. Small raised fire pits are permitted, and dogs and awnings stay free. Tollgate Farm is open from 30 March to 30 September 2026, with pitch fees from £10 a night plus £9 per adult in low season.

Good to know

Are dogs allowed at Tollgate Farm Caravan & Camping Park?
Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome and stay free of charge, including in the LogPods. Dogs must be kept on leads on site and never left unattended, and Perranporth Beach, about a mile away, is dog friendly all year with three miles of sand to run on.
Can I have a campfire at Tollgate Farm?
Yes, small fire pits are permitted as long as they are raised off the ground. Disposable barbecues must be placed on the bricks provided rather than on the grass, and campers are asked to take care not to scorch the pitches or hedges.
When is Tollgate Farm open in 2026?
Tollgate Farm is open from 30 March to 30 September 2026 and closed through the winter. Low season runs to 22 May and returns in September, with mid and high season rates applying across late May, June, July and August.
How much does it cost to camp at Tollgate Farm?
Pitch fees start from £10 a night for a tent, caravan or motorhome in low season, plus £9 per adult and £5 per child aged 3 to 14. Electric hook-up costs £6 a night in low season, while children under 3, dogs and awnings are all free.
Does Tollgate Farm have glamping?
Yes, there are 5 LogPods in Meadow field, each sleeping a family of up to 4 with a small double bed and hammock-style children's beds. Pods include electric heating, a TV and DVD player, a kettle, a microwave and a brick barbecue, but you bring your own bedding.
How far is Tollgate Farm from Perranporth beach?
Perranporth's shops and beach are about a mile from the site. The beach itself stretches for three miles of dog-friendly sand, is lifeguarded by the RNLI in season, and has a surf school and hire shops for anyone keen to get in the water.
