About this site

Treglisson Touring Park is a small, family run campsite on a former orchard about 1.5 miles from Hayle in west Cornwall, with the surfing beaches of Gwithian and Godrevy a five minute drive away. The park is rural and sheltered on the edge of Hayle, and St Ives, Marazion and St Michael's Mount on Cornwall's south coast are all within about 6 miles, so both coasts make easy day trips. There are 26 electric pitches (hook-ups newly installed in 2021) taking caravans, motorhomes, campervans, trailer tents and tents, plus a 9 pitch non-electric meadow field open in peak periods; motorhomes get hardstanding, but there are no water or drainage hook-ups on pitch, so anyone wanting fully serviced pitches is better off elsewhere. The fully tiled shower block, covered dishwashing area, small launderette, central play park and covered play area with sandpit keep families sorted, and The Mine, the seasonal on-site shop, bakes croissants and serves coffee during May half term and the summer holidays. Dogs stay free (maximum two per pitch, kept on leads), with footpaths from the site and dog friendly sand at Sandy Acres a few minutes away. Tripadvisor reviewers rate Treglisson 4.7 out of 5 and repeatedly praise the owners' helpfulness. The park opens from 2 April to 25 October 2026, with electric pitches from £28.50 a night.

Good to know

Are dogs allowed at Treglisson Touring Park?
Yes, dogs stay free of charge with a maximum of two per pitch, and they must be kept on a lead at all times on site. Footpaths lead straight from the park for walks, and the dog friendly beach at Sandy Acres is a few minutes away by car.
When is Treglisson Touring Park open in 2026?
Treglisson takes touring bookings from 2 April to 25 October 2026, so the park closes over winter. The non-electric meadow field only opens for limited periods, including late May and the school summer holidays, while sister business Treglisson Pods rents self contained lodges all year round.
How much does a pitch cost at Treglisson Touring Park?
Electric pitches cost from £28.50 to £38 a night in 2026 depending on the season, including two people and one car. Extra adults are £6 a night, children aged five and over are £3, and non-electric meadow pitches start from £20 a night.
Do the pitches have electric hook-ups?
Yes, the main park has 26 pitches with electric hook-ups, newly installed in 2021, plus a small non-electric meadow field with 9 pitches in summer. Motorhomes pitch on hardstanding, but there are no water or drainage hook-ups on individual pitches, so fill up your tank before you pitch.
How far is Treglisson Touring Park from the beach?
The surfing beaches at Gwithian and Godrevy on St Ives Bay are a five minute drive from the park, and the dog friendly beach at Sandy Acres is also a few minutes by car. Treglisson is a rural site, so you drive rather than walk to the sand.
Is Treglisson Touring Park good for families?
Yes, the park is small and family run, with a central play park plus a covered play area with a sandpit and table football, and a seasonal shop selling coffee and fresh croissants. Stag and hen parties and large single sex groups are not accepted, and quiet hours run from 10.30pm to 8am.
