Why campers love it here
About this site
Treglisson Touring Park is a small, family run campsite on a former orchard about 1.5 miles from Hayle in west Cornwall, with the surfing beaches of Gwithian and Godrevy a five minute drive away. The park is rural and sheltered on the edge of Hayle, and St Ives, Marazion and St Michael's Mount on Cornwall's south coast are all within about 6 miles, so both coasts make easy day trips. There are 26 electric pitches (hook-ups newly installed in 2021) taking caravans, motorhomes, campervans, trailer tents and tents, plus a 9 pitch non-electric meadow field open in peak periods; motorhomes get hardstanding, but there are no water or drainage hook-ups on pitch, so anyone wanting fully serviced pitches is better off elsewhere. The fully tiled shower block, covered dishwashing area, small launderette, central play park and covered play area with sandpit keep families sorted, and The Mine, the seasonal on-site shop, bakes croissants and serves coffee during May half term and the summer holidays. Dogs stay free (maximum two per pitch, kept on leads), with footpaths from the site and dog friendly sand at Sandy Acres a few minutes away. Tripadvisor reviewers rate Treglisson 4.7 out of 5 and repeatedly praise the owners' helpfulness. The park opens from 2 April to 25 October 2026, with electric pitches from £28.50 a night.
