Why campers love it here
About this site
Trevaylor Caravan & Camping Park is a family run caravan and camping site at Botallack near St Just, 500 metres from the South West Coast Path on Cornwall's far western tip. The Crowns engine houses of Botallack Mine are within walking distance, St Just is a 20 minute walk, Penzance is about 7 miles east and the lifeguarded beach at Sennen Cove is roughly 5 miles south. Hedges and trees shelter the park's five separate enclosures, which hold grass, hardstanding and fully serviced pitches, most with metered 16 amp electric, plus bell tents, four and six berth static caravans and a one bedroom cottage, Rambler's Rest. Trevaylor suits coast path walkers, climbers and families after a quiet base in west Cornwall; anyone wanting evening entertainment or a pool on site should pick a bigger holiday park, as the extras here run to a games room and conservatory (open April to September), free hot showers, a laundrette and free WiFi. Up to two dogs stay free on the pitches, kept on leads, though open fires are not allowed and barbecues must be raised off the grass. The bus stop at the park entrance has regular services to St Just and Penzance, with a seasonal coastal bus to Land's End and St Ives. The park opens from spring to autumn plus Christmas and New Year, with prices quoted through its online booking system.
