Opening Dates: Open All Year A warm welcome awaits you at this 17th century rural pub set on the banks of the River Severn in Hampton Loade just outside Bridgnorth, Shropshire. This traditional inn offers Good Food including Sunday Lunches, Bed & Breakfast and Self Catering Holiday Lets. The Caravan and Campsite offers plots for tents, cavavans, campervans and motorhomes. Facilities include shower block and washing facilities and electrical hook ups. For visitors, holiday makers, families and fishermen the secure caravan and campsite nestles on the banks of the River Severn, and is the perfect fishermans location for river fishing. The pub and campsite is family friendly with a kids safe play area. Pets are welcome on the campsite and in the inn. The Unicorn Inn is located just a few minutes walk from the Severn Valley Railway Station of Hampton Loade, a heritage steam railway that runs between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth. There is also a current and cable driven foot ferry that has run for some 400 years that carrys pedestrians from one side of the River Severn to the other. Hampton Loades very name is derived from this as Loade is derived from Lode, an old English word for ferry.
