About this site

Veryan Camping and Caravanning Club Site is a quiet touring site in rolling countryside on the Roseland Peninsula, down the lanes at Tretheake near Veryan, 12 miles from Truro. Around 145 pitches spread across tree-framed fields, in grass and hardstanding options with or without electric, plus jumbo pitches for outfits over 9 metres. Fair warning: most pitches slope, so tent campers should pick their spot with care. The site has its own small fishing lake (permits from reception, rod licence required), a ball-games field, a children's play area, a designated dog walk and a small shop, with a fish and chip van calling once or twice a week in season. Dogs are welcome with no limit on numbers, kept on a lead of no more than 2 metres. Campfires are prohibited, as on all Club sites, though raised BBQs are fine. Pendower and Carne beaches are a couple of miles away via the South West Coast Path, Veryan village is a 1.5-mile walk on footpaths, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trelissick and the Eden Project are all within reach for day trips. You don't need to be a Club member to stay, though members pay less. Open from 30 April to 27 September, with pitches from £8.20 a night at the members' rate.
