Why campers love it here
About this site
Walnut Lakes Lodges and Camping is an adults-only touring, camping and lodge park set on a 10-acre landscaped farm near Boston in Lincolnshire, built around two coarse fishing lakes. The park sits about a mile from the nearest village, where the shop, post office, chip shop and a restaurant are all within walking distance, with Boston roughly 7 miles north and Spalding around 8 miles to the south west by road. Touring and camping pitches take caravans, motorhomes and campervans, with hookups and hardstanding available, and dogs are welcome on the touring side thanks to a dog walk on site. The self-catering lodges sleep two and do not accept pets, so Walnut Lakes is a grown-ups' bolthole rather than a family site, and it is not suitable for wheelchairs. Fishing is the main draw: two lakes on the grounds, a valid rod licence needed, and quiet country lanes for cycling right off the main road. You get toilets and showers in two blocks, level pitches, and a warm welcome from the owner that campers mention again and again. Touring pitches start from £15 a night plus metered electric, fishing is £5 a day, and the lodges are priced from £350 for a three-night stay, all booked directly by phone.
