An exquisite, quiet camping & caravan park situated just 1 mile from the quaint, historic town of Pickering on a no through road (country lane) Westgate Carr Farm re-opened under new ownership in 2013 being extensively refurbished & landscaped including new fencing, electric hook-ups, WDP & toilet/shower facilities Dedicated to offering guests a warm Yorkshire welcome & a quiet, get-away-from-it-all holiday or short break, our 24 large spacious pitches are located within a 1.6 acre, sunny corner of our 49 acre farm with nature trail, dog walk to a small chalk stream/river and an abundance of wildlife around the campsite Our campsite is within walking distance of Pickering, an historic market town hosting an abundance of antique shops, team rooms, independent shops & bars/restaurants. In a stunning location with no noise or light pollution, our large pitches allow stunning views over open fields,The North Yorkshire Moors & Yorkshire Wolds. Westgate Carr Farm is within easy reach of endless places of interest or alternatively relax & enjoy the near perfect silence. The Tigers/Lions at Flamingo Land can often be heard at feeding times along with the steam trains leaving Pickering Station We are dog friendly subject to them being well behaved!
