About this site

White Rose Club, an 11 acre naturist club and campsite in quiet countryside about eight miles north east of York, is one of Yorkshire's few places to pitch up and put the clothes away. The site sits near Flaxton in North Yorkshire, handy for York itself, the Howardian Hills and day trips to the Moors, Dales and coast. Tents get plenty of space, while caravans and motorhomes have a limited number of pitches with 10 amp hook-ups, all at £33.50 a night including electricity, two adults and up to three children; two club-owned static caravans sleeping five are available from £50 a night. On site there is an outdoor heated swimming pool, a sun lawn and terrace, a woodland walk, and games including boules, lawn darts and miniten. Be clear about the house rules before you book: this is a naturist club, all first-time visitors must complete online registration in advance, photo ID is checked at the gate, turning up unannounced gets a polite refusal, and pets are not permitted apart from assistance dogs. Children under 16 stay free, and day visitors pay £15 single or £20 per couple. The 2026 season at White Rose Club runs from 2 April to 26 September, with online booking through the club's website.

Good to know

Do I need to be a member to stay at White Rose Club?
No, visitors are welcome as well as members, but every first-time visitor must complete the club's online registration form before arrival and agree to its visitor guidelines. A duty member checks photo ID and your booking reference at the main gate, and anyone arriving unannounced is politely refused entry.
Are dogs allowed at White Rose Club?
No, pets are not permitted at the club, with the sole exception of assistance animals such as guide dogs. If you normally travel with a dog you will need to make other arrangements, as the no pets rule applies to campers, caravanners and day visitors alike.
How much does camping at White Rose Club cost?
Pitches cost £33.50 a night, including electric hook-up, two adults and up to three children, with extra adults charged £10 a night. Children under 16 stay free. The two club static caravans sleep five and start from £50 a night in low season and £65 in high season.
When is White Rose Club open for 2026?
The 2026 visitor season runs from 2 April to 26 September. Low season covers 2 April to 20 May and 1 to 26 September, with high season running from 21 May to 31 August. Day visits can be booked up to seven days ahead, and places are strictly limited.
Does White Rose Club have a swimming pool?
Yes, there is an outdoor heated swimming pool at the centre of club life, alongside a sun lawn, a sunbathing terrace and a woodland walk. More energetic visitors can try boules, lawn darts or miniten, a racquet game popular at naturist clubs. Day visitors can enjoy the facilities too.
Can I take a caravan or motorhome to White Rose Club?
Yes, though pitches for caravans and motorhomes are limited, so book ahead; tents have far more space. Hook-ups are 10 amp. Note that there is no electric vehicle charging on site; the club points EV drivers to public chargers about seven miles away on the edge of York.
