Why campers love it here
About this site
White Rose Club, an 11 acre naturist club and campsite in quiet countryside about eight miles north east of York, is one of Yorkshire's few places to pitch up and put the clothes away. The site sits near Flaxton in North Yorkshire, handy for York itself, the Howardian Hills and day trips to the Moors, Dales and coast. Tents get plenty of space, while caravans and motorhomes have a limited number of pitches with 10 amp hook-ups, all at £33.50 a night including electricity, two adults and up to three children; two club-owned static caravans sleeping five are available from £50 a night. On site there is an outdoor heated swimming pool, a sun lawn and terrace, a woodland walk, and games including boules, lawn darts and miniten. Be clear about the house rules before you book: this is a naturist club, all first-time visitors must complete online registration in advance, photo ID is checked at the gate, turning up unannounced gets a polite refusal, and pets are not permitted apart from assistance dogs. Children under 16 stay free, and day visitors pay £15 single or £20 per couple. The 2026 season at White Rose Club runs from 2 April to 26 September, with online booking through the club's website.
