Withernsea Sands Holiday Village is a Parkdean Resorts park on North Road in Withernsea, pairing static holiday caravans with a genuine touring and camping field half a mile from the town's Blue Flag beach. Tents, caravans and motorhomes share around 110 pitches on grass and hardstanding, all with electric hook-ups, backed by a shower and toilet block, a launderette and accessible facilities, so campers get the same run of the park as the holiday-home guests. The seafront, with its shops, cafes and ice cream stalls, is an easy stroll from the gate. Most of the fun sits on park: a heated indoor pool with inflatables, a multi-sports court, miniature golf, an adventure play area and evening shows through the season, plus meals at the Boathouse Bar and Restaurant. The park takes dogs, so the whole household can come. This is a busy, entertainment-led base on the East Yorkshire coast rather than a quiet retreat, and it knows it. For a day out, the wild sand spit at Spurn Point rewards the drive south along Holderness.
